'Warakat' earned One Blood countless fans across Namibia

One Blood, stars in the emerging Oviritje music scene and known for their "Oviritje flow," are masters at creating enticing, party-ready anthems. The members Daphny Nguvitjita Kaune and Victor Kaune originally gained popularity with their single Warakat. The two of them were raised as siblings together.

Victor Kaune kicks off the song and gives it a head-bobbing vigor right away. a chant-along hook over opulent horns suitable for a Renaissance ruler, before letting go. Yet, the horns only make up one element of the incredible soundscape. One Blood is most concentrated over more challenging beats like this; "Warakat" feels like a true song, not a bloated cut-and-paste job of competing solo performances. One Blood is skilled at creating perfectly calibrated but sonically repetitious Oviritje bangers. The two participants settle into a relaxed back and forth. When they practice restraint, they perform best.

The eldest sibling, Daphny Nguvitjita Kaune, administers a fatal burn to her co-lead and songwriting collaborator. The Kaune family has been supportive of their children and with One Blood gaining massing fans across the country you can't imagine their excitement and how proud they should be seeing their kids excel in music. One Blood are more successful duo than Ethnix Namibia, but they still can't match the success of Namibian powerhouse trio PDK Namibia.

Namibian Sensational Singer 'Gazza' hits million views on YouTube with his banger titled 'Chelete'

Decade's top Namibian artist Lazarus Shimi, better known by his stage name Gazza, created the gorgeous song Chelete in 2018. It received 1 million YouTube views in less than six months following its release, making it the first song from Namibia to do so. His in-house producer Sam Lee Jones created the song. Chelete was a magnificent combination of the traits that set him apart from the beginning. There was, of course, his pleading croon, which was a Motown-meets-mountaineer rasp frequently used in the service of a melancholy memory or a strained appeal to a faltering lover. There was also his unwavering pop sensibility and penchant for melody, as well as his endearing affinity for the gritty side of things. For "Chelete" all of these components were present and correct, but with a fresh, expertly tuned intensity.

The Namibian Newspaper on 19 March 2019 through its reporter Netumbo Nekomba reported the massive achievement Gazza achieved. “It was a challenge,” Gazza told The Namibian about the marketing strategy for the song. “After I released the video for the song, many people such as MK, Dillish and Pex Africah promoted the song and people started following the trend. It became a culture to watch the video.”

Gazza further stated that “I had such a great plan for this song. How it unfolded was by God's grace. We had several meetings and after the song blew up, we decided to capitalize on it and create a video.”

“I wanted to show the corporate world that they need to invest in our arts. If they advertise through us and our arts, we can promote through our reach. This video is a testimony of that. If you put your strategy into place, things will work out. The world is being digitalized and it's translating into money. I'm trying to set up our industry.” he remarked.

Despite the vibrancy and individuality of his songs, Gazza can sometimes feel isolated. Gazza fell deeper in love with Namibia without explaining why he is so obsessed on it. In the visual he acquire the service of Namibian top vixen and former equipped dancer Grace Aires and her friends who makes the video more appealing with their dance moves. Often Gazza is regarded as one of the most successful artist, his always in competition with The Dogg for Great Of All Time Artist in Namibia. Gazza is associated with acts like Tequila, Tate Buti, Lady May, Sally Boss Madam, Arrafat Muhure, The Dogg, D.J. Shoza.
